Regular inspection of the blower and it’s installation along with complete checks on operating conditions, will pay dividends in added life and usefulness. Also service the drive as per manufacturer’s specifications and lubricate the coupling or check the belt drive tension. Use thermometer and gauge to make sure that the blower operating temperature and pressure remains within allowed limit.
A well-designed maintenance program will add years of service to the blower.
Check a newly installed blower frequently during the first month of operation, especially lubrication. With the blower at rest, check the oil level in both the gear (drive) end and free (non-drive) end of the blower and add oil as needed. Complete oil changes are recommended every 1,000- 1,200 operating hours, or more frequently depending on the type of oil and operating temperature. Also change the oil more frequently if pumping corrosive vapours or where excessive operating temperatures are encountered.

OUR CORE SERVICE
We ensure the root blower taken in to service by our team, will be observed and repaired in a highest standard. The blower will be disassembled and the whole parts will be visually inspected and measured. Some broken parts will be changed with the new quality parts, some mechanical damage to the shaft, housing and gear will be repaired to it’s initial condition. The inter-lobe clearance and housing clearance will be adjusted to its recommended clearance as stated on manual book.
Rotor Balancing will be done at our workshop to make sure that the root blower will run smooth.
On a special request from our client we will also do blower test at our workshop to make sure blower performance.
