Scope of Work

1. Initial Inspection and Condition Assessment
~ Visual inspection of the complete blower unit
~ Checking for abnormal noise, vibration, overheating, and leakage
~ Inspection of blower casing, rotors, shafts, gears, bearings, seals, coupling, and base frame
~ Recording the existing operating condition and visible damage

2Blower Dismantling
~ Removal of coupling guard, coupling, piping connections, and accessories
~ Complete dismantling of the blower assembly
~ Identification and marking of all internal components
~ Cleaning of dismantled parts before detailed inspection

3Cleaning and Degreasing
~ Cleaning of blower casing, rotors, shafts, gears, bearing housings, and covers
~ Removal of oil deposits, dust, rust, scale, and process contamination
~ Preparation of components for dimensional and visual inspection

4. Detailed Inspection and Measurement
~ Measurement of rotor-to-rotor clearance
~ Measurement of rotor-to-casing clearance
~ Measurement of rotor end clearance
~ Shaft runout and dimensional inspection
~ Inspection of gear teeth, bearing seats, seal areas, and coupling
~ Checking casing condition for cracks, erosion, corrosion, and deformation

5. Repair and Machining Work
~ Shaft repair or metal build-up, where required
~ Machining of bearing seats, seal areas, covers, and other damaged parts
~ Repair of rotor surfaces and blower casing
~ Restoration of damaged threads, keyways, and fits
~ Fabrication or replacement of unavailable components, subject to technical evaluation

~ Oil seals and mechanical seals

7. Rotor and Shaft Balancing
~ Static and dynamic balancing of rotating components, where required
~ Correction of rotor imbalance to reduce vibration and improve operating reliability

8. Blower Reassembly
~ Installation of bearings, gears, seals, rotors, shafts, and covers
~ Application of proper tightening torque
~ Setting of internal clearances according to manufacturer recommendations or accepted engineering practice
~ Filling with the recommended lubricating oil

9. Timing Gear and Rotor Clearance Setting
~ Accurate timing gear adjustment
~ Rotor synchronization
~ Setting of rotor-to-rotor, rotor-to-casing, and end clearances
~ Manual rotation check to confirm smooth and interference-free movement

10. Coupling/Belt and Alignment
~ Inspection of blower and motor coupling/belt
~ Replacement of coupling element, where necessary
~ Blower-to-motor shaft alignment
~ Soft-foot inspection and base frame adjustment
~ Tightening and rechecking after alignment

11. Painting and Finishing
~ Surface preparation and cleaning
~ Application of primer and industrial finishing paint
~ Reconditioning of the blower exterior to provide a clean and professional appearance

12. Testing and Quality Control
~ No-load running test
~ Checking of noise, vibration, temperature, speed, and oil leakage
~ Verification of smooth rotation and stable operation
~ Performance test, where test facilities and operating conditions are available
~ Recording of test results for final inspection

13. Final Documentation
~ Inspection findings
