WORKING PRINCIPLE

Mag Drive Pumps design are different compared to common pump which use the mechanical seal to avoid some leakage. The technology use in mag drive pumps are the creation of magnetic fields inside the pumps. The pumps use outer magnet (driving) connected to electric motor shaft and inner magnet connected to an impeller. The outer and inner magnet are separated by a rear casing or housing, creating a seal less containment. When electric motor rotates it will rotate the outer magnet inside the casing and create magnetic fields which rotate the inner magnet connected to an impeller and move the fluid through the pumps.

Are built and designed to reach an high efficiency and a low value of NPSHr. Are available in close coupled configuration with the motor directly coupled to the pump or in long coupled configuration with joint between pump and motor.

It is also available in compliance with API685 norms.
